Funeral services for Cleo Philbrick, 83, of Nash, will be Saturday, February 15, 2014, 10:00 AM at the Bethel Hawley Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Lillie officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Services are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 3 PM.
Cleo was born May 18, 1930 in Vining, OK the son of Merl and Berneice Hart Philbrick. He passed away February 12, 2014 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Cleo was united in marriage November 10, 1949 to Billie Schuermann. He owned and operated A & C Garage Inc. in Enid for over 50 years. He also farmed for many years in Nash, OK. Cleo was a member of the North Enid Lion’s Club, Enid Antique Car Club and the Bethel Hawley Baptist Church. He served for many years as a volunteer on the Hawley Fire Dept. His hobbies included restoring old tractors and rebuilding old engines. He and his wife enjoyed traveling in their motorhome visiting many place in the United States. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Billie, two daughters, Cathy Grim of Enid, Janie Begbie and her husband Daniel of Edmond, OK, a son, Ronald M. Philbrick and his wife Carol of Nash, eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Darla Summers of Guymon, Ok and one brother, R J Philbrick of Waukomis, OK.
