A celebration of life for Billie Philbrick, 87, of Nash, will be 11:00a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Billie Joan (Schuermann) Philbrick was born June 18, 1932 in Jefferson, OK to Conrad and Ethel Schuermann and passed away August 10, 2019 surrounded by her family at her home in Nash, OK. She married the love of her life Cleo Philbrick on November 5, 1949. Together they enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and going to antique tractor shows. For their anniversary every November they would travel to Vegas and Laughlin Casino; Billie loved spending Saturday nights at the Casino. They were involved in the Enid Lions Club and were active participants in getting the Hawley Fire Department started where they spent numerous years volunteering. Billie and Cleo owned A&C Garage in Enid and farmed in Nash where they spent the remainder of their lives, enjoying watching the cows in the fields.
Family was everything to Billie, she enjoyed spending time at the farm with her children and grandchildren who many of them she helped raise. Billie enjoyed family and friend get togethers and family dinners, no one ever went hungry when she was around. She had a huge love for John Wayne and loved watching basketball, especially The Thunder and The Bulls.
Billie is survived by her children, Ronnie Philbrick and wife Carol, Cathy Grim, and Janie Begbie and husband Daniel; 10 grandchildren; 20+ great and great-great grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Shorty Philbrick; Sister-in-law Darla Summers.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Philbrick; her two sisters, Marie and Connie.
