Nicholas Anthony Patrizi was born on May 10, 1936, in Farrell, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Florence Sansone Patrizi and passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He served in both the United States Marine Corp. and the United States Army. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1973 after serving tours in Germany, Thailand and Viet Nam.
Nick and JoAnn Patrizi, his wife of fifty-four years, were married May 21, 1960 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. They were blessed with a daughter, Devon, and a son, Gary.
Nick is survived by his wife, JoAnn, daughter Devon McAnally and her husband, Tim, of Enid, Oklahoma; son, Gary Patrizi and his wife, Laura, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brothers, Joseph Patrizi and his wife, Frances, of Niles, Ohio; and Robert Patrizi and his wife, Mary Ann, of Grosse Ile, Michigan; sisters, Teresa and her husband Melvin Hockemeier of Vincennes, Indiana; and Rosemarie and her husband, Don Ray of Linesville, Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, Chuck Buckovinsky of Farrell, Pennsylvania; his dear sister-in-Christ, Donna B. White, and grandchildren, Caitlin and Meghan McAnally, Nathan, Jordan and Nicole Patrizi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Patrizi and sister, Lucille Buckovinsky.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Garden Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Devon McAnally and Rev. John Wheeler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7:00 -8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
