A private graveside interment for Virginia Lee Parrish, age 89 of Enid, OK will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born November 28, 1922 in Enid, OK to Louis D. Metscher and Cora A. Ashmuhs. She passed away at home on Friday, January 27, 2012.
She grew up in Enid and attended Enid Schools. She married James M. Parrish who preceded her in passing in 2002.
Virginia was an instructor, then retired as managing director of the Beech School of Cosmetology.
Survivors include her grandson Darren Wills of Castlerock, CO, granddaughter Wendy DeLoache of Bandera, TX , granddaughter, Andreá Murray of Bandera, TX; great grandson. Adrian “Zane” Sapp of Commerce City, CO; great grandson, Aaron James Wills of Castle Rock, Co and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and son.
