Nathan Palmer

August 31, 1950 — June 21, 2024

Graveside services for Nathan Palmer, 73, of Enid, will be 10:30 am, Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Memorial Park with members of the Enid Baha'i Community offering prayers, songs, and personal remembrances. Nathan was born in McKinley County, New Mexico, on August 31, 1950, and passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, in Enid.

Nathan was a free spirit. He was ornery and loved to joke around and laugh. He never met a stranger. Nathan loved people and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and dogs. He was active in many aspects of the Baha'i Community, here in Enid, and in the many places he resided in prior to moving to Enid in 2005. Serving his beloved Faith in the Northwest Territories, Alaska, Maine, Enid and other areas in many capacities gave him joy.

Nathan is preceded in death by his father, Edgehill Palmer; his mother, Charlotte Good Palmer; sister, Patty Porter, sister, Shirley Kotlan, and sister, Donna Fulton. He is survived by his wife, Jodi Palmer, of the home in Enid; his nephew, David Porter of Vasselboro, Maine; as well as great-nephews, AJ and Aaron and great-nieces, Jessica and Samantha, and many friends.

Memorial contributions in Nathan’s name may be made to the Circle of Love Hospice or Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
