Sandra Ouellette

April 14, 1944 — October 21, 2021

Sandra Ann Roche passed away in Enid, OK on October 21, 2021 at the age of 77. She was born in Marblehead, MA, April 14, 1944 to Thomas J and Frances Elizabeth (Batchelder) Roche. Sandy was the oldest of six children. On May 2, 1964 she married Kenneth Ouellette and they created two beautiful children, Ilene and Mike.

Being a military spouse, she moved a lot and eventually ended in California. During this time Sandy went to Stockbridge University of Massachusetts Ameherst for Food Management and worked on getting her Bachelors Degree in Business.

In 1982 she and Ken divorced and became a single mom. Sandy changed her career to a nursing home Administrator until her retirement in 1999. Sandy then moved to Enid to be close to her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, art, collecting anything, and most of all she loved spending and spoiling her grandchildren and greatgrands. She always had a book and bubbles in her purse.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J and Franny Roche; two brothers, Tommy and Timothy Roche and her son, Michael Ouellette on August 15, 2021.

She is survived by her 4 loving sisters, Hiedi Peckham and husband, David, B. J. (Barbara Jill) Wessman and husband Dan,

Auerlia (Rella) Nelson and husband Bob, Cicilia (Cissy) Roche , widow of Timothy; her daughter, Ilene Baker and husband Cedric; 2 grandchildren whom she worshipped and put on pedestals for all to see.; Breanne Yazel and husband Derrick, C.J. (Cedric James Jr) Baker; 2 great grandchildren, Keily Raye and Koltyn Matthew Yazel who she absolutely adored; and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Nanny Sandy absolutely loved her grandkids and great grands.

There will be no service in Enid. An interment will be held at Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead, MA with a celebration of her life at a later date. Cremation arrangements are made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
