Funeral services for Malinda Orr age 84 of Golrty will be 1:30 Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Garland Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Karoma Cemetery in Goltry under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born September 20, 1927 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to John and Rachel Nichols Wedel and passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 in Tulsa. She attended school in Gentry and Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
She moved to Goltry in 1931.
She married Averill (Kewpie) W. Orr in 1957 and he passed away July 25, 1982. She moved to Enid in 1996. She was a member of Garland Road Baptist Church.
Malinda moved to Tulsa in 2006 to be closer to her nephew.
She is survived by her nephew Roger Johnson and his wife Carolyn of Tulsa, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her five sisters and three brothers.
Memorials may be made to Garland Road Baptist Church or Hillsdale Christian School with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
