Fern LeRoy (Roy) Noll passed January 4, 2011 due to complications of surgery.
He was 82 years old. Roy was a long time resident of Enid, Oklahoma since
1956, when he became a professional representative of Merck & Co. Roy retired
from them after 33 years but remained very active as a master gardener, an avid
photographer, and an excellent cook. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Roy
was born and reared on a farm outside of Jamesport, Missouri July 24, 1928. He
attended Kirksville College in Missouri then spent four years in the Navy serving in
the Korean conflict. Roy was a 32 degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Nola, of Enid, Oklahoma, one son, Noland (Lee) Noll, of
Tucson, Arizona, and one sister, Alice Darnell, who with her husband, Greg, live in
Orange City, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Maggie Noll, his brother, C.E.
Noll, and his other sister, Norma McReynolds.
Services will be held Friday, January 7, at 2:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel
(2800 N Van Buren). Interment will be in the Karoma Cemetery in Goltry under the
kind direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
