Funeral services for Eloise Nadine Neahring age 79 of Enid will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Choate officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Eloise was born January 2, 1933 in Caldwell, KS to Jerry F. and Mildred Lamphere Huffman and passed away January 6, 2012 in The Commons after a lengthy illness. She was raised on a farm near South Haven, KS.
She came to Enid in 1951. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Phillips University.
Eloise married Donald D. Neahring on January 16, 1954 and he passed away on June 1, 1999.
Eloise taught at Wilson Elementary and St. Paul’s Lutheran School.
Eloise worked for DHS as a social worker at NORCE for over 20 years.
She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Enid.
Eloise is survived by her children; Donnie and his wife Dorothy, Gregg and his wife Jill , Darrell and his wife Lori all of Enid, Jerry and his wife Trish of North Carolina, and Paula and her husband Ed of Las Vegas, Nevada, and a son-in-law Steve Reinhardt of Lewisville, TX.; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren,
Eloise was preceded in death by her husband Donald Neahring, daughter Rise’ Reinhardt, and one brother Darrell Huffman.
