A Celebration of Life for Wayne A. Musser, age 79, of Enid, is 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Robnett officiating. Burial with Military Honors provided by the United States Air Force will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, September 2nd from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Wayne was born November 7, 1939 to Willard and Ilyn (Ingvalson) Musser in Spring Grove, Minnesota, and passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Enid.
He married Vi Thiessen on March 3, 1961 in Warroad, Minnesota. He served in the United States Air Force for 27 years and eventually retired as a Master Sergeant in 1984. Wayne had many hobbies including singing in the Barbershop Quartet and the church choir, woodworking, and bowling. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked in the bowling industry for another 23 years.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Ilyn Musser; and a grandson, Micah Emmerson.
He is survived by his wife Vi Musser, of the home in Enid; three children, Vicki L. Davis and husband Mark Emmerson, of Joplin, MO; Lori Dempsey and husband Marty, of Ponca City; Tony Musser and wife Nguyet Nguyen-Musser, of Broken Arrow, OK; four grandchildren, Jesse Emmerson of Enid; Aranda Gulick and husband Danny, of Enid; Erin Dempsey, of Ponca City; Ryan Dempsey, of Ponca City; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as two sisters and a brother.
Memorials in Wayne’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or New Hope United Methodist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
