Paula “Polly” (Bailey) Muchow-Casey, aged 71 years, resident of Garber, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday morning, the 11th of January, 2017 in Garber, Oklahoma. Paula was born August 26th, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Clayton “Red” Perry and Lottie Mae Bailey.
Paula was raised in the Covington-Garber oil field and graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1963. She went on to graduate from Enid Beauty College in 1964. Paula then worked for a Missionary-Evangelism organization in Dallas, Texas. She married Doug Muchow on November 27, 1971. Paula served in the Gospel Ministry with her former spouse, in the areas of Pastoral, Evangelistic, and Missionary work from 1971 through 1987. She was a faithful servant of the Lord. On May 28, 1998, Paula and Steel O’Neal Casey were united in marriage in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Paula dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Paula is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Mae Bailey who raised her; brothers Jerry, Jimmy, Jetty, Chuck, Bob Sutton; and sisters, Hazel Bailey, Delma Ward, and son John Nathan Muchow.
She is survived by her husband Steel Casey; sons Jason Muchow and his wife Amy of OKC, Jeremy Muchow and his wife Christina of Austin, TX; step-daughters, Jamie Casey and Lisa Casey of OKC; siblings Darlene Odell of OKC, Mary Murphy of Gore, OK, Ona Avery of Garber, OK, Dorotha Sutton of Pocatello, ID; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Paula will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in Garber, with Reverend Donald Homady officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Garber Assembly of God Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
