Funeral services for Mary “Catherine” Moyers will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held between 7:00 and 9:00 PM on Monday evening June 6, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home at 2800 N Van Buren St in Enid.

Catherine Moyers (89) passed away early Tuesday morning, May 31, 2011 at her residence at Villa Serene in Litchfield Park, Arizona. She was born in Wheatland, Missouri, on August 27, 1921 and moved to Enid with her family at age 8. She graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1940. She married Raymond Moyers on July 10, 1940 and lived on the family farm south of Drummond until 1993 when she and Raymond moved to their retirement home on Willow Lake in Enid. She loved Oklahoma but also loved to travel and was able to visit most of the states, Canada, and Mexico and take several cruises. In 2008 she moved to Litchfield Park., Arizona with failing health to be close to her oldest son.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in May 1995 and by her mother Jenettia Brogan in September 1995 as well as her father George Clevenger, brother, Calvin Clevenger, and sisters Jean Thompson and Kay Van Horn.

She is survived by her children Steven Moyers (Donna) of Litchfield Park AZ, Carolyn Jones (Dennis) of Lakeside, AZ , Connie Hitchcock of Colorado Springs, CO and Phil Moyers (Pam) of Stillwell, KS. She has 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Catherine was a true lady of grace and compassionate service and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
