Funeral services for Sylvia J. “Babe” Moulton age 94 of Enid will be 10 am Wednesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev’s Wade Burleson and Ted Kuschel officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Babe was born January 10, 1917 in North Dakota to Jess and Herma Smith Coen and passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 in Integris Bass Baptist Hospital.
She married Lavern Raymond “Bunny” Moulton on April 7, 1933 in Hayward, OK and he passed away July 2, 2007. She and Bunny owned and operated A&A Cleaners until 1975 and they retired.
Babe was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Babe also worked as a seamstress for several of the clothing business down on the square, later working out of her home.
She is survived by her son Duane and his wife Verna of Enid, two daughters Dolores Flecker and Joycelyn Lunday both of Oklahoma City, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and one sister Marvel (Cricket) Mauk of Enid.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Opal Strailey and Pansy Kegin, three brothers Marvin Coen and Orval (Shorty) Coen, and Lyle Coen, one daughter Junelle Moulton.
