Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. As Heaven’s Gate opened once more, it welcomed the precious soul of Don on February 4, 2013.
Don was born September 12, 1924 in Garfield County to Leroy and Mary Devore Moulton. Don attended school in Enid. He joined the US Army in 1943 and served until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was stationed in Maine and Massachusetts.
On October 16, 1944 he married Vera Jo Tapp in Kingfisher. Don worked in the laundry and cleaning business retiring from Clean Clothes Rental as a plant supervisor. Don was an active member of Davis Park Christian Church where he served as a deacon and elder, where he was honored as an Elder Emeritus. He spent the last 5 years being a faithful member of Willow Road Christian Church. He was a small man in stature but served his Lord in a big way by living his faith. His wonderful prayers before our family “feasts” will be greatly missed. He loved old cars, gardening, and “PIDDLING” in his garage.
