Graveside services for Robert “Bob” Allen Mosher age 92 of Enid will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mausoleum Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Bob was born July 6, 1921 in Kingfisher, OK to Fred and Pearl Bryant Mosher and passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 in St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. Bob grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School 1940. He served in the U. S. Army as a tank commander during WWII.
Bob married Bettye Wilson on May 6, 1944 in Rogers, Arkansas and she passed away June 30, 2005. They moved to Enid in 1945, where he began working for Bond Bakery as a salesman for over 30 years. He worked as a custodian for the Enid Public Schools until he retired. Bob served as a Past Commander of American Legion.
Robert is survived by his daughter Vicki and husband Randy Young of Enid, granddaughters Cherilyn Cowan, and Brandi and John Sutton, grandson Robert Bruce Mosher, great grandchildren Mercedes, Madelyn, Frankie Sutton, Bryson and Braylee Gritz, Savannah Mosher.
Bob was preceded in death by his son Jim Mosher, two brothers Mike and Fred Mosher and a sister Babe Steele.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
