A Celebration of Life for Betty L. Moritz, 79, of Enid, will be Monday, April 28, 2014, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rajesh K Mankena as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, April 27, 2014, 6 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will follow the Rosary.
Betty was born July 25, 1934 in Cleo Springs, OK, the daughter of Alfred and Irene Bogardus Hamen and passed away April 23, 2014. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Enid in 1952. She met the love of her life, Robert Moritz, Ret. Senior Master Sergeant while he was stationed at Vance Air force Base and they were married November 18, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. The family traveled to many places due to his military service. Betty enjoyed playing bingo, card games and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter, Rene Killam and her husband Don of Enid, two sons, Rick Moritz and his wife Marsha of Perry and Ron Moritz and his wife Denise of Enid, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert Hamen Sr. and his wife Sherry of Fairview, numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
