Glen was born January 20, 1945 in Heber Springs, Arkansas and passed away May 9, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Parents Buster “Pete” and Ola Mae Moody.
Glen worked for the City of Enid as Assistant Supervisor for the Water and Sewer Department and retired from there. Over the years he also worked several extra jobs at Cornforth’s Key Shop, did maintenance for property then owned by Mr. Voelzke in the 1970’s, milked cows for Nellie Leighty who’s land is now part of Greenbrier Nursing home, amongst other extra jobs.
Glen married Mary Wages. Then later Glen married Darla Dowe on May 8, 1971.
Glen adopted Darla’s daughter Dawn Cerise. At the time of Darla’s death in 1999 they had been married 38 ½ years.
Glen enjoyed hunting and fishing, time with family and their dogs Taffy and Molly.
Pre-deceased by his parents Buster “Pete” and Ola Mae Moody, sisters Faye Evans, Helen Patterson, and Wilma Humble.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn Akers and husband Terry of Enid, his brother Bill Moody and wife Ida of Sydney Arkansas. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and of course his dogs Taffy and Molly.
