Celebration of Life Service for Mazie L. Mindemann age 83 of Enid will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 22. 2014 at the Restlawn Cemetery, El Paso, TX. Local arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Burial arrangements are under the direction of Kastor-Maxon-Futrell Funeral Home in El Paso, TX.
Mazie was born August 24, 1930 in El Paso, TX to William and Marjorie Oliver Boutwell and passed away early Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Greenbrier Nursing Home. She grew up in El Paso and attended Austin High School in El Paso. Mazie married Hubert Feeney on January 31, 1953 and he passed away in November 1963. She later married Philip Mindemann on February 1, 1975 and he passed away in March 1995.
She worked as an accounts payable at the Popular Dry Goods for many years.
Mazie moved to Enid in 2002. She received her 50 year pen from the Eastern Star in 2014. She was a member of Daughter of the Nile and a member of El Mida Lady Shrine.
Mazie is survived by her daughter Cathay Dodds and husband Phil Derr of Enid, grandchildren Dustin and Leslie Dodds, Brandon and Alexia Dodds, Kyle and Amber Dodds, Clint Dodds, Chuck and Jessie Derr and Travis Derr, ten great grandchildren, a brother Bill Boutwell of El Paso, TX, and sister Shirley Winters of OKC.
Mazie was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Ann Feeney and her parents.
Memorials may be made to Ross Health Care or Shrine Children Hospital - Transportation Dept. with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
