A Celebration of Life service for Harold Edward Miiller, 85, will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Enid with Rev. Andrew Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Harold was born on the farm near Drummond, OK on September 21, 1927 to Paul and Mamie Wegener Miiller and passed away September 25, 2012. AT a very young age he worked on the family farm with his father and grandfather. In 1952, he married Jakieta Maxey who preceded him in death in 1992. In addition to farming, he worked for the Garfield County Highway Department for 38 years before retiring.
He married Ethel Summey in 1993 and inherited a second family.
Harold continued to farm until several years ago. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Enid where he served as a Deacon. For 10 years he enjoyed traveling with Ethel in their Motorhome visiting grandchildren, family and seeing the country.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel; a sister, Lou Etta (Dwight) Minton of Tulsa; five children, Gene (Jimmie) Miiller and JoAnn Webber, both of Enid, Carolyn (Larry) West of Longview, TX, Kathey (John) McPhail of Pueblo, CO and Glenda (Jerry) Dart of Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
