Nikki Meyer

Funeral Services for Nikki N. Meyer, 69, of Enid, will be Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Cemetery at 3:30 PM on Thursday. The family will receive friends at The Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 7 PM.

Nikki was born Sept. 27, 1943 in Alva, Ok, the daughter of Lester and Helen Walker White of Cherokee, OK. and passed away Dec. 23, 2012. She was a graduate of Southeast High School in Wichita, KS. She was united in marriage to Bill Meyer on August 19, 1961 in Wichita, KS. Nikki was a Pastor’s wife and loving mother for over 50 years. Her professional career was devoted to the medical field in Medical Staff Services in Enid, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. She was member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she started the deaf ministry, taught Sunday school and made four medical mission trips to India. Her passion was helping children, especially children with special needs. She served on the 4 R Kids and Touch India Board of Directors. Nikki loved music, art, crafts, painting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together, seeing many parts of the world.

Survivors include her husband Bill, her children, Will Meyer and his wife Terri of Ames, OK, Jill Flanary and her husband Ross of Fort Smith, AR, Meredith Wagar and her husband Will of Enid, OK and Matt Meyer and his wife Lara of Nash, OK, grandchildren, Nathan Meyer and his wife Daili, Wyatt Meyer, Logan Meyer, Jack Flanary, Michelle Wagar, Meredi Wagar, Samuel Wagar, Montell Meyer and Morgan Meyer, her step-mother, Patti White of Tulsa, OK, brother, Steve White of Grove, OK, sister, Tanis Olson of Rosehill, KS, aunt, Twyla Provost and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to 4 R Kids with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund. Online condolences may be left at ladusauevans.com.
