A Memorial Mass with military honors for Frank A Meyer, 85, of Enid, will be Sat. June 9, 2012. 10 AM at The St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with The Rev. Rajesh Mankena as celebrant.
Frank was born June 21, 1926 in Great Bend, KS, the son of August and Geraldine Cheney Meyer and passed away June 1, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Enid, OK. He was a graduate of Great Bend High School in 1944.
He was United States Navy veteran serving during WWll on the USS Colorado. He was united in marriage to Barbara Brown June 24, 1951 in Great Bend, KS. Mr. Meyer was employed in the Oil Field Supply Business and retired in 1993 as an Oil Field Engineer. He was a member of The St. Francis Catholic Church and the VFW. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 61, years, Barbara, two daughters, Kimberle Beckett and her husband Richard of Lawton, OK Susie Cunningham and her husband Bill of Enid, OK, one Son Steve of San Antonio, TX, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a sister Edna Ruble of Great Bend Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warriors or The Paralyzed Veterans Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund
