Always a great partner to Calvin she moved with him during his military career to Washington, DC and Dayton, OH. Calvin and Cyrilla retired to Enid in 1979 to be closer to their 3 grandchildren. In addition to enjoying being a part of her grandkids lives she was also a very active member of the community. She was a member of Eastern Star, Fellowship Guild, Shriner Ladies, Meadowlake Ladies Golf League, and Enid Arts Council. She was also a volunteer and gave her time to organizations like Senior Life Network, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Leonardo’s, and Oklahoma Blood Institute.

Cyrilla was also very creative and a talented artist. She took great joy in painting and sharing her pictures with family and friends. Her creativity and her enjoyment of painting was a very important part of how she wanted to be remembered. Her artwork hangs proudly in every family members home.
