Graveside services for Beulah McKee 87, of Enid, OK. will held Wednesday April 25 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Ted Kuschel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home has been entrusted for the services.
Beulah was born May 30, 1924 in Fairmont, OK. the daughter of Alva and Alta Hayes Jackson. Mrs. McKee died Sunday April 22, 2012 in Enid, Ok. She attended school in Hennessey and moved to Helena Orphans Home after the death of her parents.
In 1940 she went to Canton, OK. where she was a telephone operator and attended Canton High School. Beulah moved to Enid in 1944 and was a switchboard operator for SW Bell Telephone Company. On April 26, 1946 Beulah married Marion Leon McKee. They lived in Southard until 1957, when they moved to Enid.
In 1962 she became telephone operator at Vance AFB, and retired as chief telephone operator in 1986. She was member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Past President of Epsilon Beta, Epsilon Sigma Alpha
Surviving are two sons: Garry McKee of Oklahoma City and Larry McKee of Yukon, Oklahoma
Six Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to OMRF- Alzhiemers Div. with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the of the fund.
