Memorial services for Jack McGee will be at Willow View Methodist Church, 2:00 Tuesday February 11, 2014 . Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday and Saturday at Ladusau
Evans Funeral Home with the family on hand from 3:00 - 4:00 pm Saturday.
Jack was born February 14, 1947 to George and Mary Anne McGee of Enid. He went to be in the Arms of his Heavenly Father February 4, 2014.
Jack graduated from Enid High School in 1965, served in the US Army from 1966-1969 and was honorably discharged as a Captain. Jack married Carolyn Hammons in Ft Sill, Oklahoma, September 1, 1967. Jack had one son Bryan who was born March 3, 1969. Before leaving the Army, Jack touched many lives along his path. Jack and Carolyn skated competitively for 10 years and he coached for 8 years.
In 1977 they moved to Enid and opened McGee Floor Covering which Bryan still runs today. Jack was a deacon at Davis Park Christian Church. He had a deep love for his Church and His Savior. He was attending Willow View Methodist Church and was part of the Praise and Worship Choir. Jack coached baseball through EJRT and American Legion for 15 years. Jack and Carolyn managed Skatetown for 13 years. He touched many lives while walking on this Earth and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, son, Bryan and wife Natalie, and 3 grandchildren. sisters, Betty Anne Hughey and Kathy Fetsch and husband Larry and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Anne Peckham, father, George McGee, brothers, Charles and Clifford McGee, and sister, Fran Rauch.
