On June 20, 2013 at the age of 87 Wanda McCreight joyfully entered heaven.
Funeral services for Wanda will be 2:00 pm Monday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Private burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Wanda was born February 6, 1926 in Waukomis to John and Cora Snodgrass Henneke. She attended and graduated from Drummond High School in 1944. She married Lloyd McCreight on October 14, 1945. He passed away on March 20, 2009. Wanda spent her life as a loving, devoted wife and mother. She worked alongside her husband on the family farm.
She enjoyed gardening, music, and her grandchildren.
Surviving her are one daughter, Deanna McCreight of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Thomas McCreight and wife Donna of Enid, OK; three granddaughters, Jennifer McCreight of Oklahoma City, OK, Jessica Fisher and husband Phillip of Wichita, KS, and Jenny McCreight of Colorado Springs, Co and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Emma Fisher.
Wanda was preceded in death by her two sisters, Darlene and Glada.
Memorials may be made to Feed the Children with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
