Margaret Mccreary

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Margaret Jean McCreary, 87, of Enid, will be Thursday, May 7, 2015, 2:oo PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Bob Perry will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 7 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Margaret was born August 11, 1927 in Enid, OK, the daughter of Thomas and Golden Lilburn Dunworth and passed away May 3, 2015. She was a graduate of Enid High School in 1945. On her 18th birthday Margaret married the love of her life, Bill McCreary. Bill preceded her in death on August 10, 2011. Together they loved profoundly and raised five wonderful children. Her family was the highlight of her life.

Margaret can be remembered for her contagious laughter. She loved to dance, loved music, and most of all, loved life. She was a member of The Followers of Christ Church.

She is survived by daughters Pam Brueggen and husband John of Cashion; Pat Brown and husband Jim of Lincoln, NE; Neta Wayman of Medford; son, Steve McCreary and wife Kathy of Oklahoma City; and daughter-in-law Susan McCreary of Enid; along with 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters, her son Stan and great-grandson Jacob Goeden.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, or Enid Senior Care Activity Fund. Ladusau-Evans will serve as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be left at www.ladusauevans.com.
