Madeline Mccormick

Madeline Rae McCormick was born June 8, 1950 and passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Madeline was born in Caldwell, Kansas to the late William and Anna Wood Corey. She grew up in Westerly, Rhode Island where she met and fell in love with her husband of 47 years, Arthur McCormick. During that time Madeline and Arthur travelled the world and had four children Keith, Joseph, Gail and Ryan. After 22 years, Madeline and Arthur retired from Army life and began the next chapter of their lives at Concordia University. They accepted their first call at Immanuel Lutheran Church Breckinridge, Oklahoma. Madeline proudly served the LWML in many positions, the Stewardship Committee, Fellowship Committee, and several other supportive church organizations.

Madeline loved reading, craft work, and spending time with family.

Madeline is survived by her sister, MArgarent Brady; brothers, Gerry Baton, William A Corey and Phillip Corey: her loving husband, Rev. Arthur McCormick; her children, Keith and his wife Shaun, Joseph and his wife Heather, Gail and her husband Darryl and Ryan. Madeline was also a loving grandmother to Aaron, his wife Kiersten, Alexander, Victoria, Sara, Hannah, Lilian, Chase and great granddaughter Lila.

Funeral Service will be 3:00pm, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Breckinridge, Oklahoma. Pastor Travis Orr will officiate. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
