Funeral services for Kenneth W. McClurg age 90 of Enid will be 2 pm Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born June 18, 1920 in Logan, OK to Alonzo and Ruth Harlan McClurg and passed away at his home late Saturday, June 26, 2010.
He married Thelma Arrington on December 26, 1940 in Woodward, OK and she passed away August 2, 2005. They moved to a farm near Garnett, KS in 1946. In 1961, they moved to California where he was the grounds supervisor for the Fullerton California School District. In 1980 they moved back to Enid. Kenneth was very active in the Masonic Lodge and the Shiners.
Survivors include his daughter Luetta Kay Crum of Enid, grandson Greg McClurg and his wife Donita of Enid, granddaughter Michele “Mickey” Ballard of Enid, 5 great grandchildren, one brother Wendell McClurg of Fernley, Nev.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma.
He loved golfing, bowling, and gardening.
