Mary Strait

Graveside services for Mary K. Strait age 73 of Enid will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the New Home Cemetery, Nash, OK with Rev. Kelly Cronkhite officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mary was born August 14, 1950 in Enid to Arthur and Ruth (Doggett) Porter and passed away August 13, 2024 at her home. She grew up in Enid and attended North Enid Public Schools. Mary has operated Cedar Acres Pet Grooming since 1983. Mary married Jim Strait on May 4, 1990. Mary's love for animals was her passion.

She is survived by her husband, Jim and a son Jonathan Strait of the home, a brother Mike Porter of Enid, and numerous other friends and family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Ruth Kent and Betty Rathjen.

Memorials may be made to Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
