Funeral services for Kenneth “Ken” W. Martin age 74 of Enid will be 2 p.m Tuesday at the Enid
Free Methodist Church with Rev. Janice Buffalo officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Ken was born August 2, 1935 in Kiowa, Kansas to Walter E. and Ethel May Wright Martin and passed away July 1, 2010 in Enid. He attended and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1954.
Ken married Elnora Faye Swallow in December 1956 and she passed away several years later. He served in the National Guard. Ken worked for Culligan of Enid and later worked for Rainsoft as a technician. Ken attended Enid Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter Loretta of Enid, three sisters Beth Tappan, Pam Morganridge both of Enid, Karen Smith of Blanchard, OK, three brothers, Charles Martin of Jet, OK, Harry Martin of Kansas City, MO and Tom Martin of Enid and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Janet Lilly and a brother Darrel Martin.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Breast Cancer with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
