An informal Celebration of Life service for Georgia Lee Kucera-Martin, age 76, of Enid, will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Central Assembly of God Church, 1202 W. Oxford, in Enid. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Georgia was born April 26, 1941 in Aline, Oklahoma to Harry Dupus and Florence (Veley) Dupus, and passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Kenwood Manor Nursing Home.
Georgia married Raymon Kucera on May 17, 1966, and to this union was born their daughter, Toni Kucera. She and Raymon enjoyed participating in the Enid Twisters Car Club together, as well as spending time with Toni and their grandchildren. She and Raymon would occasionally take in other children who needed a home. She enjoyed collecting various things, especially all things Disney! Georgia loved to crochet comforters and Easter bunnies and had fun entering her things in county fairs. Georgia’s faith was important to her. She served others at Central Assembly of God Church as a Missionette instructor as well as helping with Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. Georgia enjoyed listening to music and audio stories. Christian and country music were among her favorites.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymon Kucera, and two sisters, Betty Ann Neville and Patsy Joe Wood.
Georgia is survived by her daughter, Toni Kucera of Enid; three grandchildren, Ashley Hajek, Nicholas Hajek, and Whitney Kucera; three great-grandchildren, Jasper Kucera; Cynthia George; Autumn George; and sister Edith Wade, of Oklahoma City.
Memorials may be made in Georgia’s name to Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
