Mark came into the world on March 10th, 1955 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, OK, blessing his parents with their third child. Mark started his education at the Breckinridge Lutheran Parochial School and finished at Garber Public Schools, graduating in 1973. Throughout his time in school, Mark was actively involved in the FFA where he achieved awards including, Oklahoma State FFA Degree which paved the way for his family's love of FFA.

After his education, Mark jumped steadfast into the workforce. Mark started working for Long's Polled Herefords for many years until their dispersal sale. Mark also worked for Long's John Deere of Garber, OK for a short time, but Mark's love of the fields took him back to the cattle. Mark worked for Homer Garton as a roughneck, Covington Sale Barn, Enid Sale Barn, and Winters Livestock. Mark even enjoyed telling stories of his "bouncer" days working at the Golden Nugget in Enid. Working many different jobs throughout his life, he is best known for his farming operations in the Garfield County area. Mark was always willing to lend help wherever needed without the expectation of anything in return. Mark was a life-long member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Breckinridge. Mark had several hobbies he enjoyed, including anything Garber Wolverine related, co-op coffee time with his buddies, and spending time with his family who he loved deeply.

Mark found the love of his life, Debby, in the summer of 1990 while looking for show pigs. Mark and Debby were married in December of 1990, and spent thirty-four loving years together. From this marriage, Mark adopted his daughter (Lacey). He was blessed for many years watching her grow a family under the Roggow name. Later in life, Mark was blessed with three grandchildren and a "bonus" granddaughter, who he chased all around the state, as they were very active in anything the Wolverines had to offer: That Garber Band, FFA, 4-H, softball, baseball, basketball, football.
