Marilyn A. Miller Coosewoon Malone
A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Marilyn A. Miller Coosewoon Malone 79, of Enid will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 10:00AM at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Robert Courtney to officiate. Graveside service and burial will be held at 4:00 pm at Highland Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Marilyn was born June 20, 1936 in Lawton, OK to Evert E. Miller and Gladys Loraine (Kirby) Miller. She attended Geronimo Schools in Geronimo, Okla., and was a graduate of the class of 1954. Marilyn passed away peacefully Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Enid. She married Raphie Coosewoon on April 16, 1957, and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1976. She married D.H. Malone December 15, 1977 and they enjoyed 36 years of marriage before he passed away November 7, 2013. Marilyn is also preceded in death by her parents, Evert and Gladys Miller, and a sister, Jacquetta Miller Clark.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Coosewoon) Landrum and husband Kevin of Enid, grandson Matthew Denton Landrum, of Enid, granddaughter April (Landrum) Stanley and husband Bobby, and great-granddaughters Stella Raye, Alivia Lynn, Raegan Kaydence, of Mustang, OK; daughter, Dayla (Malone) Recknagel and husband Karl, and grandsons Kyle and Blake Recknagel of Enid; daughter, Dana (Malone) Klusener and husband Tim, of Sugarland, Texas, granddaughter, Elizabeth Smith and husband Christopher, great-grandchildren Bobby and Paisley, of Jasper, Texas; daughter, Debra (Malone) Hobson and husband Steve, of Covington, granddaughters, Kelli Hobson of Enid, Tracy Holden and husband Lee, and great-grandchildren Brett, Lindsay, Lily, and Alora of Garber.
The family would like to thank Andrea Luna, Cameron Horne, Emily Flyingout, Becky Cushman, Jeanie Clark, and Kayla Snowden for their love and excellent care of Marilyn.
Memorials may be made to Hillsdale Bible Church or Valir Hospice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
