A memorial service for John C. Madison age 71 of Enid will be 10 am Tuesday at the Harvest Time Worship Center. Scattering of his remains will be held following his service on a family farm.
John was born March 14, 1939 in Goltry, OK to Dan and Lillie Weber Madison and passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital. He grew up and graduated from Goltry Public Schools. He entered the U.S. Army on October 15, 1961 and was honorable discharged on July 23, 1967.
John worked as a fireman at Northrop at Vance Air Force Base for 32 years before retiring.
He loved to farming, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by a special friend Linda Jones of Enid, two daughters Debra Dugan of Enid and Jonica Campbell of Tulsa, a sister Bess Sedbrook of Goltry, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, and a grandson, a great nephew
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
