The funeral service for Ethel Ilean Maddox, age 84 will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Alan Seibel will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno, OK. There will be a time of visitation with the family, Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Ethel was born July 15, 1925 in Harmon, OK, the daughter of the late William A Grinstead and Mary S Malloy Grinstead and died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Heartland of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
She had been employed as a civilian employee at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, OK.
She is survived by one son, Earl Maddox and wife, Leta of Falling Waters, WV; two grandsons, five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; and one brother, William “Welcome” Grinstead, of Canton, OK.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Maddox and a brother, Wilford Grinstead.
