A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Edward Lunak, age 62, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Ken was born on June 3, 1961, to Frank and Audrey (Trethewey) Lunak in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and passed away suddenly on September 23, 2023 in Enid.
The family moved to Blue Springs, Missouri where Ken graduated from Blue Springs High School. After high school, Ken joined the United States Navy. When he left the Navy, Ken became a jack-of-all-trades working various jobs. However, he made a career working as a regional maintenance supervisor for multiple residential and commercial communities across the Midwest.
In 1999, Ken moved to Cheney, Kansas where he worked HVAC, electrical and plumbing for Cheney Electric. In 2001, Ken met the love of his life, Karen Berry, and they married in 2004. In 2010, they moved to Jet, Oklahoma where they have made their home. Ken worked in maintenance for Saint Mary's Regional Hospital in Enid for several years.
His wife Karen, of the home in Jet; their children Amanda, Matthew, Luke, Melissa, Nick, Mike, Ben, and Kendra; fifteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, as well as his three brothers Ray, Bill, and Larry, survives Ken. He is proceeded in death by his parents Frank and Audrey Lunak; sister Barbara, and brother Jim.
Ken enjoyed spending time with his family. You would often find him road tripping with his wife on their Harleys or sitting next to a fire while camping. There was nothing that made him more proud than his wife and kids and being a grandpa. Not only was Ken a devoted family man, but a great friend to many.
Memorial contributions in Ken’s name may be made to Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
