Prayer service for Laura Mae Long, age 99, of Enid will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 30th at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Ron Olson officiating. Burial will be in Las Vegas, Nevada. Local arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born March 11, 1911 in Kansas and died August 27, 2010 at The Homes of Greenbriar in Enid.
On March 29, 1930, she married Aubrey C. Long in Kansas. She was a homemaker, a Christian, a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and played the violin at church. She loved her family and flowers. Grandma would write births and deaths in her Bible.
She is survived by 2 sons; Ralph Inman and Lester Long; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, L.G. Feely of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey C. Long, daughter, Grace Depo; sons, Harold Inman, Mel R. Long, Roy Long; grandsons, James A. Long, Christopher S. McCormick, Kenny Inman and a grand-daughter, Carol J. Patrick.
