Helen Long

Funeral services for Helen Louise Long, 87, of Drummond, OK will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday October 10, 2013 at the United Church of Christ Puritan Congregational with Mr. Charles Kaupke and Rev Matt Perkin officiating . Interment will follow in the Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond, OK. The family will receive friends and family from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Helen was born June 8th, 1926 in Ames, Oklahoma the daughter of Millard and Velva Hedges Provolt and died October 7, 2013 in Enid. Helen was united in marriage to Winston Long, February 1945 in Drummond, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2004.

She was a lifetime homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family and others also she was very active in the Christian Church of Drummond and the Drummond community.

Survivors include 2 grandsons, Cameron Long and Tanner Long, her sister Loretta Kaupke of Braman, Oklahoma, numerous nieces and nephew as well as many cousins and a host of friends. She was also preceded in death by, her son Galen Long, her parents, her brother Gene Provolt.
