A Celebration of Life for Virginia E Lloyd, 94, of Enid, will be Saturday, April 2, 2016, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ladusau-Evans from 6 to 7PM on Friday. Virginia was born December 16, 1921 and passed away March 30, 2016.
Virginia was born December 16, 1921 in De Queen, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Minnie Hale Bull. She moved with her family in September 1925 to Enid, OK. She attended Adams Grade School, Longfellow Junior High and graduated from Enid High School in May 1939. On January 1, 1949 in the home of Rev. and Mrs. E.B. Matthews, minister of Davis Park ‘Christian Church, Enid, OK, she married Vernon A. Lloyd and he preceded her in death January 31, 1998. She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church, Garfield County Genealogists Inc. and the North Enid Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Lloyd and his wife, Barbara of Houston, TX, Russell Lloyd and his wife Harriet of Hillsdale, OK. Ten grandchildren, Holly Loncaric (Renato), Melanie Carlton (Jeff), Christopher Lloyd (Kim), Jonathan Lloyd (Kimberly) Royce Lloyd (Jenifer), Chelsea Edington (Russell), Tara Waddle (Tyler), Cordell Lloyd and his fiancé Jessica, Grant Lloyd (Kalan)and Adam Lloyd and eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Harold Lloyd, a sister and two brothers.
