Funeral Services for Juanita Lloyd age 70 of Enid will be 11:00 am Monday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Barry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Juanita Lloyd affectionately known as Nita, Momma and Omie, she was one of seven children born to the late Joseph and Lillian Jackson, on May 1, 1943, in El Reno Oklahoma. Juanita transcended to heaven on Monday March 10, 2014. Juanita graduated from Enid High School in1961. In pursuit of her dream to become a Social Worker she continued her quest for higher education and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Services in Long Beach California. She married Eddie L. Lloyd Sr. to this union she was blessed with 4 children.

She was an Entrepreneur, she opened and ran a number of successful businesses; Nita’s Boutique in Long Beach California, Lloyd’s Ethic Décor in Carson, California and then ventured out to Real Estate with Lloyd’s Property Management with multiple properties in California and Oklahoma. She served as President of Southern Heights Community Center in Enid Oklahoma, where she was able to provided assistance to the community in the form of food, utility assistance, and youth job services.

Juanita never met a stranger; she loved talking to people. She was loved by everyone she touched. She always opened her home to her nieces, nephews and friends of her children who thought of her as their second mom. She always gave good advice, guidance and loved everyone who entered her home as if they were one of her very own children. Juanita’s favorite pass time was spending time with her grandchildren, cooking large family meals for the holidays, and decorating her home. Her main hobby was home restoration. Juanita accepted Christ at a young age. She was an active member of Greater Open Door of Carson California under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Garon Harden Sr. Juanita loved the Lord and made it her mission to shine wherever she went. She never hesitated to share the goodness of the Lord with her family, friends, and staff at the hospital where she received her treatment. She will truly be missed for her sweet soul and “tell like it is” spirit…..She was also a member of The Order of Eastern Star (OES).

She leaves to cherish her memory, children Eddie and Linda Lloyd Jr., Abilene Texas; Patrick Lloyd; Marcus and Tonya Lloyd of Carson, California, her daughter April Lloyd of Carson, California, her soul-mate of 32 years Robert Peoples, Carson, California, her brothers, Joseph and Opel Jackson Jr. Richard and Patricia Jackson; Leonard Jackson Sr; Bobby Jackson, William Jackson and her sister Mary Byrd; Sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, step children Ricky and Teresa Peoples, Gloria and Alvin Taylor, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lillian Jackson Sr; and Brothers, Roy Gene Jackson and Johnny Ray Sanders.
