A Celebration of Life service for Leslie Mae Bailey age 81 of Medford will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in the First Christian Church, Medford with Rev. Scott French officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosemound Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Leslie was born September 8, 1943 in Paola, Kansas to Lester and Edith (Williams) Beamer and passed away in her home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She married David Bailey on August 31, 1962 in Guymon, OK. She attended Waverly High School graduating in 1961 and attended Panhandle State University. She followed her husband in his coaching career to Yarbrough, Forgan, Kremlin-Hillsdale, and Medford. They moved to Kiowa, Kansas in 1994 until moving back to Medford in 2003. Leslie worked as a bank teller for Bank 7 until 1994. Leslie enjoyed teaching Bible studies, Sunday School and was a Lay speaker. Her most important thing was a wife, mother and grandmother.

Leslie is survived by her husband David of the home, her children: Terri and husband Charles Misak, Rondi and husband Scott French, Mike and wife Mendy Bailey, Christy, and husband Clay Kelley, grandchildren, Tyson (Tori) Misak, Trent (Tiffany) Misak, Tanner Misak, Mason (Benji) Sherrill, Bailey French, Michaela (Corey) Myers, Brady Bailey, Cash Kelley, Cadee Kelley, great grandchildren: Kasen and McKinsey Misak, Moses and Liliana Sherrill, Colter and baby Myers.

She was preceded in death by parents, sister Mary Lou Sanders, brother Clifford Dale Beamer, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Catherine Bailey, and sister-in law Ladonna Petermann.

Memorials may be made to the Medford Public Schools Scholarships with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
