Graveside services for Myrna Jean Lemon will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Barrick will officiate.
Myrna was born July 27, 1926 on her grandmother’s farm about four miles southeast of Orlando, Oklahoma, the daughter of Francis Lee and Ruth Orin Webb Wehr.
Myrna was united in marriage to Don Lemon and he preceded her in death. She was a longtime employee at Newman’s Department Store. She was a great cook, her specialty was her cinnamon rolls. Her joy was spending time with her family and caring for her plants.
Survivors include one daughter, Marion Phillips and husband Stacy of Ringwood, Oklahoma; three sons, Stan York and wife Marilyn of Derby, Kansas, Phillip York of Enid, and Kelly Lemon and wife Ginger of Enid; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion LaRue and husband Bill of Edmond, Oklahoma and Elaine Thedford of Enid; three brothers, Dale Wehr of Perry, Ok, John Wehr of Edmond, Ok, and Nathan Joe Wehr of Perry, Ok.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodians of the funds.
