The funeral service for Leta Leighnor, age 78, will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Bobby Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Alma was born June 30, 1933 in Plymouth, TX to Clyde and Alma Bradley Clement and died February 21, 2012 in Enid, OK. She was raised in Plymouth, TX community attending school in Sam Norwood, TX, graduating from Sam Norwood High School.
She married Henry Kimball and they had three boys, Bill, Hugh, and Rodney. She later married Willis Leighnor on January 1, 1980 and he passed away October 12, 2003.
She worked as a waitress at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant for several years. She attended Christ Community Church.
Survivors include, three sons, Bill Kimball and wife Jane of Pueblo, CO, Hugh Kimball and wife Michelle of Enid, OK, and Rod Kimball and fiancé Karen Naylor of Sherman, TX; two step-daughters, June Cooke of Enid, OK and Pam Sands of Jet, OK; and six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, one grandson, Damon Kimball and one sister, step daughter.
Memorials may be made to Christ Community Church or Civitan Community Building.
