Ben was born to Henry S. and Betty Ann Harrison LeForce on a wheat farm March
9, 1946 in the Great Plains of Oklahoma, and entered his next life on Tuesday,
January 25, 2011. He became a Christian at age nine and was baptized in the First
Baptist Church of Nash, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife, Paula, of the home, and three children, Spencer LeForce
and his wife Nicole, and their three children, Katarina, Kamber, and KaLynn
LeForce of Pond Creek, Oklahoma; Amy Kellogg and her husband, Sam, and their
three children, Isaac Wilson, Levi Wilson, and Konner Kellogg of Shawnee,
Oklahoma; and Scott LeForce and his wife, Sarah, and their son, Michael LeForce,
of Mustang, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his brother, Henry C. LeForce, and
his wife, Billie Jayne, of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Ben began hunting rodents, sparrows, and tin cans as a boy and was soon
shooting upland game with his father and grandfather. He attended the Nash
Public School System, and his boyhood dream was to hunt “The Big 5” of African
dangerous game. It was through this endeavor that he and his wife, Paula,
became actively engaged in the safari business.
By the age of 20, he acquired a 30.06 that, over the years, has accounted for
whitetails, antelope, and other North American game. He also has guided many
successful hunts on the family ranch.
As a businessman, his family farm has been developed into one of the premier
seed production and marketing companies in the United States. During that time,
he received the Oklahoma Premier Seed Dealer Award.
He was also a member of Oklahoma Crop Improvement Association, Oklahoma
Grain Inc., The Field Seed Institute, Oklahoma Seed Trade Association, Safari Club
International, Dallas Safari Club, International Professional Hunters Association,
Professional Hunters Association of South Africa, Endowment member of the
National Rifle Association, and co-founder of the NRA museum in Washington D.C.

Ben’s Final Words ~ “Do not mourn for me, my friends, for I am in a place of
unlimited game with an endless supply of ammunition and a great guide.”
