The funeral service for Carol Ann Layman, of Breckenridge will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 30, 2011 at the St John’s Lutheran Church of Covington. Pastor Kenneth Wade will officiate. Interment will follow in St John’s Lutheran Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-7:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Carol was born September 12, 1948 in Marshall, OK, daughter of Arthur and Doris Helling. She passed away at home September 26, 2011.
Carol graduated from Covington High School class of 1966. She was married for 25 years and to this union three wonderful children were born.
She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Helling and nephew Carl Vrska and her grandparents.
Carol is survived by daughter Rebecca Bee and husband David of Enid, OK, daughter, Robin Layman and Chris Spence of Marlow, OK, son, Ryan Layman of Breckenridge, OK; eight grandchildren, her mother, Doris Helling of Covington, OK; sisters, Judy Vrska and husband Charles of Enid, OK and Connie Oxford and husband Rick of Covington, OK; several nieces and nephews.
Carol was a wonderful daughter, sister and loving mother and Nanna to her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
