A graveside service for Jean F LaFon, age 75 of Enid will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 18, 2011 in the Enid Cemetery. Father Steve Samples will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jean was born November 29, 1935 in Enid, OK to Clyde and Irene Hackle Rowley. She died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 13, 2011. She graduated from Enid High School in 1953 and married the love of her life, Donal LaFon on September 18th that same year. She worked at Rowley Nursery, the family business for many years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Dan Creach of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Larry Koehn of Lahoma, OK, daughter-in-law, Janet LaFon of Enid, 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donal LaFon; son, Dale LaFon, her parents and brother, Jerry Rowley.
We will miss our #1 mother and grandma.
