A Celebration of Life for Nancy Lee (Evers) Kvasnicka is 10:00 am, Monday, August 20, 2018 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison to officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nancy was born March 29, 1957, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was the youngest daughter of James Leonard and C. Lorraine (Evers) Kvasnicka. She attended Monroe Elementary, Emerson Jr. High where she played french horn in band, and Enid High School where she participated in swimming.
At a young age Nancy knew she wanted to be a mother and made it her main goal in life. Above all, her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe. She poured every ounce of her being into her family. She looked forward to big family gatherings for Thanksgiving and Christmas and enjoyed putting a twinkle in everyone's eye.
Nancy loved people and they loved her. She made friends wherever she went and never met a stranger. She had an infectious smile, and was known for her kind and compassionate spirit. She was the most giving person you would ever know, rarely thinking about herself.
Nancy was employed with the Enid Public School system for many years driving children to and from school and then serving as an aid on the school bus. She dearly loved each and every child and had the patience of a Saint. She had many stories to tell about her bus children.
She took pleasure in planting flowers in her yard and looked forward to it every season. She had a green thumb and an eye for design.
She leaves her children; William Waite III, Lezlie Simunek and husband, Brent; and Lori Toone; her grandchildren Ragan, Brinley and Logan James Simunek and Caleb James Toone; her sister, Carol Garcia and husband Louis; niece Jennifer Janzen and husband Grant; nephews Brett Fleming, and wife Eleni; Michael Fleming, Amber Lindsey and their daughter Abigale.
We will forever miss Nancy's fun-loving spirit, the twinkle in her blue eyes and her accepting smile. She has truly fought the good fight and is now in the loving arms of her Father in Heaven.
Memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
