Arthur Krienke

Funeral services for Arthur V Krienke, age 89 will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev Eric Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Arthur was born March 19, 1923 in Garfield County to Herman and Elizabeth Rutz Krienke and died January 30, 2013 in Enid, OK. He attended and graduated from Lahoma High School in 1940.
After graduation he traveled with a semi-pro softball team sponsored by Failing Supply Company. He enlisted in the US Navy after Pearl Harbor. He married Ruth Pereboom on October 14, 1945. They farmed in the Lahoma area all of their lives. He enjoyed fishing and watching the crops as they grew. He was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his son Tim Krienke and wife Sherri of Lahoma, OK; grandchildren: Jessi and husband Matt Nelson of Yukon, OK, Hannah Krienke of Yukon, OK and Shane Goss and wife Jenni of Fort Walton Beach , FL; great grandchildren: Havynne Jones, Landon Johnson and Ariana Goss and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
