Ronald Koehn

The funeral service for Ronald Koehn, age 69 will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church. Rev Garvie Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the New Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery, Meno, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Ronald was born March 1, 1942 in Enid, OK to Lowell and Susie Schmidt Koehn and died July 31, 2011 at his home.
He married Lois Wedel March 10, 1963. She passed away April 29, 2001. On February 22, 2003 he married Darlene Friesen in Enid, OK. He worked as a parts salesman for Marlatt Auto Supply for 20 years. He worked for Atlas as a pipeline inspector for over 20 years, retiring in December 2007. He also drove truck during harvest time. He was a member of the Lion’s Club, and school board member. For most of his life, he attended New Hopedale Mennonite Church in Meno, OK and currently is a member of the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church. He was actively involved in various church activities.
Survivors include his wife Darlene of the home, son, Troy Koehn and wife Nisa of Pratt, KS and Sheldon Koehn of Ringwood, OK; step sons, Kevin Friesen and wife Brenda of Enid, OK and Kurt Friesen and wife Kristi of Ft Collins, CO; 4 grandchildren; and 7 step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Lois.
