Funeral services for Alan Ray Klusener age 65 of Enid will be 2 pm Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Alan was born February 14, 1948 in Russell, KS to Robert and Virginia Becker Klusener and passed away December 29, 2013 in St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. He grew up in Russell, Ks and Ellis, Kansas where he attended and graduated from Ellis High School. Alan attended Ft. Hays State University where he received a B. A. in 1966.
Alan worked at pharmacy as a chemist and later went to work for paint companies where he worked to improve the quality of the paint. He worked in Wichita, KS and Alabama.
Alan liked to sing in the church choirs in the Methodist Churches. Alan came to Enid in 2002 to be near his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Scarlett Klusener of Sapulpa, OK, parents Bob and Virginia Klusener of Enid, Sister Vicki Guest and husband Gary of Enid, Brother Tim Klusener and wife Dana of Sugarland, TX and a grandson Tristen and twin nieces Gina and Farrah.
